Design the experiences and stories that players remember

Build the practical and theoretical foundation to work as a professional game designer — from core mechanics and level design through to production and playtesting. You’ll graduate with a strong design portfolio and the research, communication and critical-thinking skills that come with a Bachelor Degree.

You’ll learn directly from industry professionals, working across the same engines and pipelines used in professional studios, while collaborating with art and programming students on real game projects. This degree will build your knowledge and practical skills to pursue a career in the design and production of games. Develop your storytelling and user experience skills to produce unique interactive experiences. This three-year degree covers all the core topics covered in the Advanced Diploma and takes it to the next level. Not only will you cover specialist design units, but you will gain broad expertise in graphic design, game art and systems design to power you in your game development journey.

To enrol in an AIE Institute Bachelor Degree, you’ll need to have completed Year 12 (or equivalent). FEE-HELP for Bachelor Degrees

Our Bachelor Degree (delivered by AIE Institute) is eligible for FEE-HELP, which allows an eligible student to apply for an Australian Government loan to help pay for part or all of their tuition fees.
