Applying to AIE Melbourne through VTAC

AIE Melbourne is registered with the Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC). All eligible Year 12 students are required to apply through VTAC for AIE’s Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses offered at the Melbourne campus.

Who is an eligible student?

All AIE full time courses are listed as Type 2 courses which offer domestic full-fee places (DFP).  To apply for these courses, you will need to be:

  • Australian citizen
    OR
  • Australian Permanent Resident
    OR
  • New Zealand citizen

Certificate courses listed on VTAC are direct entry only. To enrol go to the certificate enrolment form.

It is highly recommended that you read through the VTAC publication ABC of Applying before you lodge your online application so you will be informed with all necessary steps. Please be aware that the Victoria Tertiary Admission Centre (VTAC) has gone through a major upgrade of its website and the online course application process has had a number of changes. Downloading and reading through this ABC Guide will help you adjust to the changes and make the right applications.

How do I apply?

  1. Applications are made via the VTAC website.
  2. Read the how to apply page on the VTAC website
  3. Check important VTAC dates and fees (see below)
  4. Register for a VTAC user account.
  5. Log in to your user account and apply online.

Offer Rounds AIE are participating in Offers Released Comments

  • Only paid applications will be forwarded to institutions to be considered for an offer
  • Offers are emailed to applicants on the day of release and available in their VTAC account from 2pm the same day
