The VET FEE‑HELP scheme ceased on 31 December 2016 and has been replaced by the VET Student Loans scheme that has commenced on 1 January 2017.

What does this mean for current students?
AIE students who accessed VET FEE-HELP in 2016 will be able to continue under current VET FEE-HELP arrangements until 31 December 2017.
What is VET FEE-HELP?
VET FEE-HELP is a loan given to eligible fee-paying students to help pay for part, or all, of their tuition fees which means that you can begin studying without paying any upfront fees. Students repay the loan to the Australian Government through the tax system once a student reaches the minimum income threshold level for repayment.
Who is an eligible student?
An eligible student is a continuing student who accessed VET FEE-HELP in 2016.
