The Best of 2024
Livestream Description
Join the AIE team as we celebrate the Best of 2024, showcasing some of the most outstanding student and trainer-led projects from the past year. This livestream will give insights into the creative process, challenges overcome, and the innovation behind each project.
Our expert trainers will take you behind the scenes of their standout projects:
Chad Habel (Games Business Trainer) – Castle Cab, a sandbox adventure where you play as a majestic steed, racing through villages, fields, and castle walls with your cart. Cause mayhem, evade pig-riding guards, and assist locals in your own chaotic way!
Emma McIntosh (Adelaide Game Art Trainer) – Redline, a high-speed, zero-gravity racing at over 1000 kph. Master dual-joystick steering, ride your opponent’s redline for massive boosts, and compete solo or in four-player split-screen!
Dan Sanguineti (Canberra Filmmaking Trainer) – Broken Pieces is a psychological thriller about a mother haunted by a child’s ghost and a town’s buried secrets. When her partner is murdered, she must mend her fractured life to save her own child before it’s too late.
Joel Hayward (Melbourne Game Design Trainer) – I Hate My Job and My Boss Is A Lizard is a frantic couch co-op where you play as quirky office creatures racing to complete tasks. Organize paperwork, deliver coffee, and avoid workplace chaos—just don’t anger the boss!
Christiaan Gerritsen (Sydney Game Art Trainer) – Viva La Grind is a high-energy movement-action game where you skate, grind, and style your way through a city overrun by a robot army. Play as a rebellious hero, rollerblading through streets and battling massive robots to save the city!
