The AIE presents another live online workshop next week, Thursday 21st April. Ryan Ware, Lead Screen Art teacher, will be leading the special two part workshop on “Introduction to Renderman.” To register for these workshops, please refer to the end of the article.
These AIE Online workshops aim to provide basic to intermediate levels of knowledge to students who are interested in the field of games, 3D animation & VFX for film. It also gives a chance for AIE teachers to showcase their talent and skills. In the past, students can find themselves creating panels from a sci-fi spaceship or discussing with the teacher scripting within Unity 3D.
Programming teacher, Noman Saeed, delivered a previous workshop ‘Prototyping for Unity 3D’ says “Workshops are beneficial in that they provide glimpses to the possibilities in games development. They introduce a variety of topics and techniques and intrigue student’s attention to know more about what has been shown.”
These workshops are easily accessible and can be done so through the AIE Youtube Channel or AIE Website.
"Workshops give the opportunity for individuals to experience industry techniques for free in a relaxed and flexible environment." says Lead Game Art teacher Finn Spencer, one of the first AIE teachers to conduct a live online workshop.
