Byron's initial professional venture involved the Aboriginal Health Project, where he contributed to training remote health-care providers to address foot complications arising from diabetes.
Presently, numerous headsets housing the training program are deployed across remote locations in SA and the NT.
During his leisure hours, Byron dedicates his time to developing his own video game, Lords of Illic, which gained recognition when showcased at Avcon 2023 as part of the indie showcase.
