Graduate Showcases connect AIE students with industry

Second-year students had the opportunity to impress dozens of industry professionals at the AIE Graduate Showcase.

Held simultaneously across the Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra campuses, the Graduate Showcase sees students present their final year projects and showreels to representatives from Australia’s top animation and games studios.

The goal of the showcase is to enable students to network with industry figures, gathering expert feedback on their work and securing valuable connections for future employment.

Some of the studios present to check out the work of Screen and Media graduates included Animal Logic, Iloura, Plastic Wax, Zero One Animation, Autodesk and Adobe.

On the games side, programming, design and game art and animation students were able to demonstrate their skills to the likes of Fire Monkeys, Wicked Witch Software, Big Ant Studios, Tantalus and Dreamgate Studios.
