The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) is inviting year 11 and 12 students to showcase a range of future careers that relate to STEM skills. The majority of the world’s fastest growing occupations require STEM skills and there is an urgent need for a skilled workforce in hundreds of emerging industries in Australia.
Students will hear from industry experts across a range of fields and be able to get hands-on with the latest technology including 3D software and VR equipment.
Experiential workshops running on the day include:
- Learn how Artificial Intelligence is developed
- Create 3D environments
- Code interactive 3D simulations
- Experience the latest Virtual Reality applications
Future Skills Experience is being held on Friday 25th August from 10am - 1pm at AIE, E-Block, Canberra Technology Park, Watson. Registration is free.
This event is being held in the lead-up to National Skills Week which kicks off on Monday 28th August.
