AIE students showcase their games at PAX 2024
Published on: October 9, 2024
At PAX this year, AIE students flexed their game development skills in a big way, turning heads and grabbing attention with some seriously killer games. The Academy of Interactive Entertainment (AIE) crew rolled in with everything from fast-paced action titles to mind-bending puzzle games, and the crowd couldn’t get enough.
These AIE students weren’t just showing off some basic projects; they came locked and loaded with polished, innovative games that could hold their own against anything on the floor. Their booths were packed as players lined up to dive into their worlds. Whether it was a wild co-op experience or a visually stunning platformer, these game developers proved they’re ready for the big leagues.
What made the AIE student games stand out? It wasn’t just flashy graphics or cool mechanics (though they had those, too) – it was the raw passion and creativity. You could see it in the way they interacted with players, taking feedback and sharing the backstory of their game development journey. Watching the AIE students light up when people got hooked on their creations was pure gold.
PAX was just the beginning for these future game dev stars. With the skills they’ve honed at AIE and the buzz they generated at PAX, it’s clear they’re leveling up fast. If you missed them this year, you’ll definitely want to keep your eyes on these rising talents. The next big thing in game development might just come from AIE!
