Who we are
The Academy of Interactive Entertainment is Australia's most awarded 3D animation, game design and visual FX educator. Created in 1996 as a non-profit organisation to grow the creative digital sector, AIE now has 7 campuses worldwide, 5 in Australia and 2 in the U.S.
What is a workshop
An AIE Event Officer will bring an industry expert teacher along to run students through a Design, Programming or Art workshop aimed at giving students hands-on experience with software used in the Game and Film Industry. Students could create a character, environment or even program their own mini-game whilst learning about study and career pathways within the Digital Industry.
Eligibility
AIE runs workshops for Year 10 to 12 students who are interested in knowing more about the Games and VFX film Industry. To run a workshop, we require some communication to help with correct equipment and program installation. The time frame of the workshop of minimum 1 hour and a maximum of 3 hours.
