AIE’s award-winning training is coming to Sydney.
A brand new campus is being created in a spectacular setting. Sydney AIE students will be taking advantage of studios filled with cutting-edge technology and studying our industry-focused, practical courses that have propelled our Melbourne and Canberra graduates into game companies and production studios around Australia and the world.
We’re excited about being co sited with veteran Australian game development studio Micro Forté and BigWorld, leaders of Massively Multiplayer Online Game Middleware.

Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development (Game Programming)
- Industry-focused programming career pathway into game development
- Extremely high graduate employment rate!
Advanced Diploma of Screen (3D Animation & Visual FX)
- 3D Art career pathway into 3D animation and VFX for film and tv.
- Make your own short film like Fault, the AIE student animation that won the animation award in the 2008 Sony Tropfest short film competition!
Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development (Game Art)
- Game art career pathway into game development
- Learn all facets of 3D games modeling and animation, character and level design, environment modeling, concept art, and detailed texture painting.
All our Advanced Diploma courses run for 1600 hours over 2 years, 20 hours per week. Advanced Diploma graduates interested in continuing onto University can take advantage of our articulation agreements with some of Australia’s leading Universities gaining as much as two year’s credit in a related Bachelor’s degree!
